HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Welcome 2010!!! 3rd day of year 2010!
30 Dec nite went out wif Mr Garfield and his frenz... we went to Blk 85 for supper wif JM and after that, we went to Guillemard for prawning session and Eric came along... 3 rods and we only managed to caught 30 prawns! tat is so bad.. haha.. anyway, the geez of prawning is not the number of prawns u caught, rather the fun u had... a new prawning area tat is nearer to Bedok and the pond is rectangular in shape... 'celebrated' Mr Garfield's the minute of his b'dae at the prawning village... aft our catch, we BBQ them and left ard 2plus or 3...
Mr Garfield's b'dae (31 Dec) - had lunch at Akira Restaurant at Link Hotel wif Mr Garfield's and his parents... Ala Carte Buffet menu.... cant really eat alot for Japanese food... but ordering the Assorted Sashimi is good enough!! hehe... aft lunch, we went to Wangz Hotel which i had booked for the nite... nice hotel and the staff were very friendly... it makes mi feel good whenever i entered or leave the hotel, they will remember my name and greet us! so cool!! as if i am the VVIP!! haha... had our dinner at the Nectar Restaurant of the hotel... a 5 course set dinner menu at S$88++ per couple.. i think tis is the cheapest i can find in a restaurant on the New Year's Eve ba... an hour before the welcoming of 2010, we went up to the HALO rooftop bar and had our drinks there... not very crowded and it's about 5 or 6 tables occupied... it's a nice place for us to countdown cux we are not squeezing with the crowd!! managed to get a few glimpse of the fireworks from Marina Bay... we played the games organised by the hotel and MR Garfield won for his game and got a bottle of White Wine and as for mi, i did not managed to win but still got a memo pad frm the hotel.. =)
and we won a 2D1N stay at the hotel so it's quite a worth spent!! haha...
01-01-2010... met up for lunch wif Mr Garfield's frenz at Brewerkz... went to shop in OG and had dinner at Bentendo Cafe at Iluma.. went down to Marina Square for dessert...
02-01-2010... went out wif MR Garfield to Zara to exchange my dress tat Mr Garfield's sis had bought for mi... and thks MR Garfield for buying mi a blouse.. hehehe... did not really shop at Orchard wif Mr Garfield... mayb next time we can spent our afternoon shop at Orchard Ok? haha... den at nite Mr Garfield gotta go back office for meeting... =( so met up wif Hazel and wanted to go prawning at Bishan but it was too crowded so we waited for Mr Garfield to knock off and we went to Guillemard for prawning again!! it was kinda crowded at there too... did not had good catch ytd... so sad... JM joined us later and we went to ate Tau Huay at the famous Yong He.. yummy... eat and eat again...
think i shld list down my new year's resolution...
1) save my $$ (cannot spent too much $ on eating and buying stuff frm VS!!)
2) slim down by another 10kg (if possible... hehe..)
3) able to save our target amount & more in our bank account
4) save more $ for my next overseas trip in 2010... (destination to be confirmed...)
tat's my 2010 resolution for now... might b adding more to it when i think of it.. hehe...
