had a tirin day today... spent the whole afternoon in Popular at Bras Basah Complex... they have private close door sales for members.. 25% storewide... as Mr Garfield went back to camp for reservist, i headed down alone at ard 1plus and start to shop ard... it was damn crowded!! ppl everywhere.... well i guess even if there is recession, it doesn't stop parents from buying more & more assessment books especially when there is SALE! the first section tat i went to is 'Literature' section... finally found the books i wanted to buy.. it's none other than Shakespeare's play... bought the 'Twelfth Night' & 'The Merchant of Venice'.. bought few other books and some assessment books for my student... bought a book on Dinosaurs for Mr Garfield too... spent about S$80plus dollars in total... but spent 1.5hrs queuing for the cashier... the queue was moving very slow!! anyway, i intended to buy the books and since i have nothing to do, so i shall queue up then... Mr Garfield joined mi aft tat and we had our late lunch/early dinner at Jack's Place... and of cux it's my treat!! we had the Escagot (yummy) and i had my Mixed Grill & Mr Garfield had his Venison & Crayfish...
